The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority is now registering for a new Senior Softball Recreation League. The league is open to men and women ages 60 and over. The player fee is $20 and includes a t-shirt. Games will be held at Shannon’s Shag Williams Park on Thursdays at 10 am. The season will run from October 14 through December 9. Register now until the first game on October 14. Register at the Shannon Recreation Center or the Etowah Senior Center. For questions, contact Tammy Bryant at 706-234-0383.
