East Point Man jailed on forgery charges

An East Point man remained in jail this morning on first degree forgery charges, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Dante Cortez Parker, 22, of 3006 Kentucky Court, was ar-rested Wednesday afternoon after he cashed a forged check worth $479.21 at the Piggly Wiggly on Martha Berry Highway.

The check was written on the account of P&R Freight Solutions.

He remained in jail this morning.
