Broad and Third to rock First Friday

By day many of them are well-known local business professionals. By night they are a band called Broad and Third, playing a broad range of music from old-school rock to classic ballads. And tonight they kick off the summer First Friday concert series at 7 p.m. at Bridgepoint Plaza in downtown Rome. The concert is free, and the band will perform until 10 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concessions will be available. Band members are Hal Richards (from left), Hal Ruland, Becky McCord, Lisa Smith, Tom Beck, Ed Hunt and Michael Beck.
