Two teens charged in connection with rape of Bartow juvenile

The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two teenagers in connection with the rape of another teen in January.

According to Sheriff’s Office reports:

The victim, 15, reported she had been sexually assaulted on Jan. 19 at an address in Southeast Cartersville.

Deoarn Lemont Clinton, 17, of Acworth was arrested on Tuesday and charged with rape and aggravated sexual battery. He is currently in the Bartow County Jail.

A 16-year-old female from Cartersville was arrested on Wednesday and charged as an adult with party to a crime of rape and party to a crime of aggravated sexual battery. She is currently in the Rome Regional Youth Detention Center.

Both are awaiting a Superior Court Bond Hearing.

ummm...montezuma...or whatever your name is...you need to F off. NO ONE ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION. I know the REAL victim well enough to know that he never would do this. And like a_blank said, I will continue to post my opinion. Now your opinion on the other hand, does not matter AT ALL. so you can get the hell off this website and mind your own business. since obviously you have no clue who the actual victim is. I completely agree with a_blank, and I dont even know who it actually is. He IS innocent, and your opinion on the subject is obviously not needed in the slightest bit. So...take your ignorance back to where it came from. I know the law, and I know the real victim. And nothing adds up. So keep your ignorant comments to yourself. This is stupid. and a waste of jail space. && I will continue to post.

You're right. We obviously do know the suspect.. which means we know him well enough to know there is absolutely no possible way he could have committed this crime. This isn't one of those "never saw it coming" cases. This is one of those "we know him well enough to know he isn't capable of something so awful" cases. We have every right to post our opinions through comments. Obviously we're not the detectives and officers in charge. They are the only ones who can you give you facts on the case, and we are the only ones who can give you facts on the suspect's character because WE are the ones who actually know him. If you don't want to read our opinions, then don't, but we will continue to post them.

Both of the previous posters obviously know the suspect. Instead of trying to lie to people here, who could not care less about these criminals, how about you try telling yourselves the truth; they both could have committed the crimes they are charged with. Rape is not "stupid" and neither is Aggravated Sexual Battery.

I want to thank the officers in the case for doing their job. If it does come out, in the investigation, that this (whatever his name is) did not commit the crime, then he needs to be let go. If it comes out that he did it, and the second person was a party to the crime, then they need to have the book thrown at them.

No one is interested in your subjective opinion, only facts. If you have nothing to share, then good day to you.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I have a feeling this allegedly raped girl is not telling the whole truth or is not being question well enough. Deoarn Clinton not only has (and had at the time) a girlfriend that he adores, but he is also one of the sweetest people in the whole world. It is STUPID beyond words that Deoarn is even involved with this nonsense.
