Darlington Soccer Academy team wins Atlanta Cup

Darlington School Soccer Academy’s U19 boys coach Jeff Haigler and his team took home first place in their division, defeating the FC Atlanta Silverbacks U17, which is ranked in the top 30 nationwide. Darlington’s U19 girls finished No. 2 behind the Alpharetta Ambush 92 Elite, and the U17 boys made it to the semifinal round. This was the first year the Academy has competed in the Atlanta Cup, and it will next play in the CESA Challenge in Greenville, S.C., Friday and Saturday.
