Lavender Mountain Hardware & Garden recently received a Silver Award for its entry in the Georgia Green Industry Association’s Outstanding Retail Garden Center Awards Program.

Through the program, GGIA recognizes the successful operations of skilled retailers in the industry. There are categories for large, medium and small garden centers. Lavender Garden competed in the medium-size category and won a Silver Award for the second year in a row.

Ron Rowland, garden center manager, Angela Moura, horticulturist and designer, and Lavender Garden owner Virginia Brewer accepted the award in Athens at the recent GGIA annual conference and trade show.

Lavender Mountain Hardware & Garden has been in business for nine years and is located in Armuchee on U.S. 27
