Marie Broome has been named patient access emergency room supervisor at Redmond Regional Medical Center. She will be responsible for the ER registration department.

Broome has worked in health care for the eight years, with six of those at Redmond. In her time at the hospital, she has been administrative assistant at outpatient rehab, registration clerk in the outpatient and emergency departments, quality assurance/trainer for patient access, financial counselor and injury management coordinator for Redmond Occupational Health.

Broome graduated from Chattooga High School and studied at Coosa Valley Technical College concentrating in business.

Broome and her husband, Jason, have two children and reside in Armurchee
