The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority will hold a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for Midway Park at 11:30 a.m. April 4.

The event, which is open to the public, will be at the south end of the park near the ball fields.

Renovations at the park funded by SPLOST dollars include a new ball field, tennis courts and basketball court. New construction was completed on pavilions, bathrooms and parking lots. The playground was also relocated into a new picnic area of the park
