Lt. Governor Casey Cagle has organized a listening session in Rome, one in a series of such events throughout the state.

During the session, locals will get a chance to speak with Dennis Pitts, a field representative for the lieutenant governor.

“It is very important to me that our office remain available and accessible to Georgians who have questions and concerns regarding state issues. As we look for ways to aid and connect citizens with appropriate agencies and solutions, we don’t want people to have to drive to Atlanta for a personal meeting. It is our goal to be convenient and come to them,” said Cagle.

Rome's listening session will be 1-3:30 p.m. today at The Forum.
