A Rome man was arrested Saturday evening after driving his car into a ditch to intimidate passengers, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Anthony Broilen Gomez, 22, of 926 Desota Ave., told two passengers, one a young child, that he was going to kill them both.

He then drove the vehicle into a ditch on Calhoun Road.

He was charged with two counts of felony terroristic threats and acts, one count of felony second-degree cruelty to children, and misdemeanor DUI, driving while unlicensed, and endangering a child under 14 while DUI.

Bond was set at $3,750.
