Two Romans were in jail Monday morning on theft charges, and another was arrested for drugs.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Dustin Cotton, 17, of 2012 Flannery St., and Cody Rose, 18, of 2108 Maple Rd., were charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property. The duo took 1,860 pounds of steel from the end of Hosea St and sold it for $158.30. No bond has been set.

Jason Fowler, 33, of 14B Lady Marion Drive, was arrested by Floyd County Police and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce), felony possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a park and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Fowler was in Etowah Park when he was arrested, and had given the drugs to his 13-year-old son to hide. No bond has been set.
