Mr. and Mrs. Russell S. Busch of Aragon announce the engagement of their daughter Megan Emily Busch of Rome to David Thomas Konter, son of Cindy Brock of Cave Spring and David Konter of Fairmount.

Miss Busch is a 2002 graduate of Rome High School and is studying management at Shorter College. She is owner and manager of Curves in Rockmart.

The bride-elect is the sister of Brent Busch of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Marie Laye and Marion L. Busch, both of Walhalla, S.C., the late William B. Laye and the late Jean Busch.

Konter is a 1998 graduate of Pepperell High School and is also studying management at Shorter College. He is employed at Mohawk Industries.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Tom Clemens of Centre, Ala., the late Jo Clemens and Tom and Rita Snyder of Lake Placid, Fla.

The private ceremony is planned for Saturday, June 9, 2007, at the home of the bride’s parents. Invitations will be sent
