Rome The Rome Braves announce that left handed pitcher Beau Jones has been sent to Myrtle Beach of the Carolina League. Jones was 0-0 with a 1.66 ERA in 21.2 innings of work with five walks and 19 strikeouts. Rome picks up right hander James Curtis from the Danville roster. Curtis had an outstanding season in Danville last year going 3-0 with a 4.35 ERA and will join the team tonight in Charleston.
Rome continues their eight game road trip this evening against the Riverdogs before concluding the trip on May 19th. They return to action at State Mutual Stadium on Tuesday May 21st to begin an eight game home stand
