T. Martooni’s, a once popular downtown eatery, will reopen its doors this spring after closing about two months ago, the new owner announced Tuesday.

Todd Woodlee said he two other investors purchased the Broad Street building and restaurant Tuesday afternoon from John Massey, who formerly operated the restaurant. Woodlee said Massey would continue to manage the business when it reopens, tentatively in April.

Some minor interior renovations of the building are being planned, he said, but the restaurant name won't change.

“We don’t plan to change too much about what has made T. Martooni’s great,” he said. “There may be some trademarks that we do ourselves.”
