Lauren Nicole Hurley and Garrett Russell Jones were married at 5 p.m. Monday, July 17, 2006, at West Rome Christian Church.

The bride is the daughter of Dale and Sue Hurley of Rome. She is the granddaughter of John and Marie Hurley of Cedar Bluff, Ala., and Odessa Riordan of Rome.

The groom is the son of Kenneth and Tammy Jones of Cartersville and Kelley and Marcie Lane of Rome. He is the grandson of Marvin Jones of Bryson City, N.C., Helen Thompson of McDonough and the late Mr. and Mrs. Steven S. Giles of Charlotte, N.C.

The Rev. Brad Dillard performed the double-ring ceremony. A small dinner reception was held afterwards at The Waterfront Bar and Grill.

Another reception is planned for Oct. 8, 2006, at the Rome Civic Center. Invitations will be sent.

After a brief honeymoon, the couple resides in Rome
