The bride-elect is the daughter of David and Lisa Franks, also of Joaquin. The groom-elect is the son of James Garrett of Silver Creek and Judy Garret of Bowie, Texas.
Miss Franks plans to graduate from Joaquin High School later this month.
The bride-elect is the sister of Melinda Head and Roxanne Franks, both of Joaquin.
Garrett is a 2000 graduate of Pepperell High School. He attended Coosa Valley Technical College to study carpentry. He is employed by the U.S. Army’s 3rd Infantry Division and recently completed a year-long tour of duty in Samarra, Iraq.
The groom-elect is the brother of Jeremy Garrett of Rome.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 1, 2006, at the home of Miss Franks’ sister
