Sabrena D. Riley of Rome and Christopher E. Ellis of Cedartown announce their engagement. Miss Riley is the daughter of Samuel F. Owens Jr. and Franklin and Gloria Ware, all of Rome. Ellis is the son of Mary Ellis of Cedartown.

Miss Riley is employed at the Rome Housing Authority.

The bride-elect is the sister of Lashun Langston and Rickey Langston Jr., both of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Georgia Williams of Rome and Samuel Owens Sr. of Waukegan, Ill.

Ellis is employed as a driver at Angelica Health Care.

The groom-elect is the brother of Terri Lynn Ellis of Cedartown. He is the grandson of Susie Ellis of Cedartown.

The private wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at Lovejoy Baptist Church. A reception will follow at Floyd College Lakeview Hall. Invitations will be sent
