Rome police reported Saturday morning that a man at Heritage Park was held up and had his wallet taken Friday evening while he was fishing.

According to Rome police reports:

Two suspects approached the man fishing at Heritage Park around 7:45 p.m. Friday riding bicycles, and then grabbed him. Police reported he was held with his arm behind his back while the second suspect wielded a knife and took his wallet, containing $70 and his social security card.

Police had made no arrests in the robbery at the time of the report
