The Rome Braves' two-game win streak came to a quick end Friday night when the Capital City Bombers claimed a 9-2 win at State Mutual Stadium.

Haj Turay led the Bombers going 4-for-5 at the plate, three of those hits going for doubles, and drove in two runs. Rashad Parker added a 2-run homer.

Starting pitcher Brian Walker took the win for Capital City (9-5), while Jose Capellan was losing pitcher for the Braves (8-7).

The two teams close out the three-game series Saturday night at 7 p.m
