Tom and Brenda Wise of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter Kristy Wise of Rome to Joseph Agan of Rome, son of Noble D. and Yvonne Agan Jr. of Armuchee.

Miss Wise is a 1997 graduate of Armuchee High School.

She attends Shorter College’s School of Professional Programs.

She is employed at Legacy Marketing Group in Rome.

The bride-elect is the sister of Wendy Smith of Sharpsburg. She is the granddaughter of Bert Bowland of Rome, the late Walter Bowland, the late James C. Wise and the late Hope Wise.

Agan is a 1997 Armuchee High School graduate.

He attends Shorter College’s School of Professional Programs.

He is employed at Regions Bank of Rome.

The groom-elect is the brother of Josh Agan of Rome.

He is the grandson of Norman and Avaleen Dew of Rome, the late Noble D. Agan Sr. and the late Pearl Agan.

The wedding is planned for 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at Fellowship Baptist Church, 314 Burnett Ferry Road in Rome.

A reception will be held at The Forum.
