According to Floyd County Jail records:
Rick Daniel Weatherby, 32, of 22 Wentworth Place, was arrested by Floyd County deputies around 1:30 p.m. He was charged with felony stalking and simple battery.
According to Floyd County police warrants, Weatherby assaulted a female victim last month by striking her in the face, in violation of a magistrate court order commanding him to not have violent contact with the victim.
He remains in jail without bail.
