The Rome Braves' scheduled 7 p.m. game against Augusta at State Mutual Stadium was postponed after an hour and 15-minute rain delay.
They two teams will play a doubleheader Friday night beginning at 6 p.m. at SMS.
In Atlanta, the downpours postponed the Braves' series finale with the Chicago Cubs after a similar delay.
No makeup game has been scheduled.
