Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle will on Friday make what Floyd County Schools is calling a "major announcement" regarding a partnership between a U.S. corporation and the College and Career Academy.
The announcement will be made at the Innovation in Education Conference at the Georgia International Convention Center.
Cheryl Carrier, program director for Ford Motor Company Fund's 21st Century Education Programs, as well as Floyd County Schools College and Career Academy student Logan Osborne will be on hand for the announcement.
