Wreckers move the 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass from the roadway Sunday morning after it was hit by two cars after running a red light, according to police.
Three people were hurt Sunday morning in a wreck at East Second Avenue and Broad Street that caused a car to flip.

According to Rome police officer Michelle Sims:

James Edward Haynes, 33, of 28 Pennington Ave. was driving a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass on East Second Avenue heading west when he ran the red light at Broad Street and was struck in the side by a blue 2008 Mercury Grand Marquee, and then in the rear by a Nissan pickup truck. The impact with the pickup truck caused the Cutlass to overturn.

Haynes was taken to Floyd Medical Center and hospital authorities stated he was transferred to another hospital. Patricia Clendenning, 68, of 20 Windrush Drive was treated and released from Redmond Regional Medical Center and the driver of the third vehicle refused treatment.
