Police arrested a Selman Road man after he told someone he was going to “kill the police or they are going to kill me,” according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Ronald Latham King Sr., 56, of 37 Selman Road, remained in jail Tuesday night with no bond set.

Selman pulled a knife Monday while arguing with someone and then made the threatening statement. He is charged with misdemeanor simple assault and felony terroristic threats and acts.
