A man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly took money from the West Rome McDonald’s while working there, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Luis Antonio Cardona-Arriaza, 33, of 1122 Oakland Ave., acted as an employee of the restaurant when he took money from the cash register that belonged to McDonald’s.

The amount of the cash taken exceeded $2,000.

Cardona-Arriaza was charged with felony theft by taking and was being held without bond Wednesday night.
