Floyd County police arrested a Rome man on felony and misdemeanor drug charges Monday after they said he was found with suspected methamphetamines on Kingston Highway, reports stated.

According to reports from the Floyd County Jail:

Cody Shane Garrett, 21, of 33 Meadows Drive in Rome, was arrested on felony possession of methamphetamines and misdemeanor possession of drug related objects after police alleged they found 4 small bags of meth and a glass smoking pipe on him after he was stopped by police at the intersection of Kingston Highway and Freeman Ferry Road.

Police did not report any incident during the arrest Monday, Dec. 24, at 11:43 p.m.
