A Rome man faces drug charges after being pulled over by officers for not having his headlights on while it was raining, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

James Michael Stewart, 23, of 28 Fairhaven Drive, Rome, was found with a bag of marijuana and another bag containing nine bags of methamphetamine during the traffic stop Sunday.

Stewart was charged with felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, along with misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

He remained in jail Sunday night without bond on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and intent to distribute.
