A Rome man remained in jail Sunday night after allegedly striking a woman at his residence early Sunday morning, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

Kevin Eugene Hastings, 35, of 14 Berkshire allegedly pulled the victim’s hair, dragged her across the bed and threw her to the floor. He was charged with felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor simple battery.
