Man accused of stealing ATV from Barker Road residence

A Rome man charged with stealing an all-terrain vehicle was arrested Tuesday, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Joshua Michael Mendez, unknown age, of 2526 New Calhoun Highway, was charged with felony theft by taking.

Mendez took a Polaris ATV valued at more than $500 from a Barker Road residence on April 27 with intent to deprive the owner.
