CEDARTOWN — A Cedartown man will serve at least two and a half years in jail because of his involvement with a stolen all-terrain vehicle.

Jonathon Bradshaw, 26, of 302 N. College St., pleaded guilty Tuesday in Polk County Superior Court to one charge of theft by receiving a motor vehicle.

Superior Court Judge Richard Sutton sentenced Bradshaw according to recommendations from the district attorney’s office. The sentence was up to 10 years in jail with Bradshaw to serve five years. Sutton agreed to count the 20 months Bradshaw has been in jail on the charge as credit toward his time.

Bradshaw was also fined $2,000.
