Two Rome men were charged Sunday evening after they allegedly took items from a building on Old Summerville Road and were selling the items in the front yard when the owner arrived, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Jeffrey Todd Watson, 29, of 1807 Martha Berry Highway, and James Floyd Simpson, 25, of 68 Hatfield Road, were each charged with a felony count of burglary in the second degree.

Watson bonded out Monday but Simpson remained in jail on parole violation.
