Man arrested, charged with trespassing and meth charge

A Rome man was arrested Wednesday after he was charged with trespassing, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the report:

Michael Wayne Messer, 32, of 2801 Fosters Mill Road, was being investigated for allegedly trespassing on a Mt. Zion Road property when he was discovered to have methamphetamine and a glass pipe.

Messer was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug related objects and criminal trespass.

He remained in jail Wednesday night without bond.
