Veterans Appreciation Day set for Nov. 14 in Cartersville

ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor’s Cartersville Career Center will host a veterans’ appreciation day Wednesday, Nov. 14, to honor U.S. military veterans, active duty soldiers, reservists, Georgia National Guard members, and their families.

The appreciation day will honor veterans for their service to their country. Area veterans and their families are invited to attend the ceremony.

The one-day event will be held from 9-11 a.m. at the Cartersville Career Center, located at 19 Felton Place. Among the organizations and branches of the U.S. military services that will participate are the American Legion, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy.
