Rome Police took a strange item into custody after Harbin Clinic officials called officers in to investigate a possible threat.

According to Rome police reports, officers stated that a strange note was left at the clinic Friday at about 12:30 p.m.

After discovering the note, two officials from Harbin met with police after the index card was left on the door of one of the officials. She found it when she came back to the office from her lunch break.

The note read, according to reports:

“In the name of God here’s a message to the people of Rome: Allah will deal with you when I leave. I will be leaving today. If you do not take heed to my message in the name of Allah — most gracious most merciful oh Allah. I ask you to be my guide and help me establish myself.”

Officials from Harbin reviewed security footage and reported that a black male, wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes left the note and walked out of the clinic.

Police did not have any suspects in custody at the time of the report.
