Berry College President Steve Briggs has announced a change in administrative responsibilities at the college in order to tackle a number of ambitious projects in the coming academic year.

“As Berry strives to improve our academic programs and remain fiscally healthy, we have developed a new division of responsibilities,” Dr. Briggs said.

In the coming year, Provost Katherine Whatley will work directly with Dr. Briggs on issues related to institutional planning, analysis and policy development. Communication Professor Dr. Kathy Richardson has agreed to serve as Vice President for Academic Affairs for a three-year term and will serve also as Acting Provost while Dr. Whatley is on special assignment.

“We are looking forward to a productive and exciting new school year,” Dr. Briggs added.
