Copper reported stolen from St. Mary's church

Thieves stole copper wires from five air conditioning units at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 911 N. Broad St., according to the Rome Police Department reports:

According to the reports:

Someone jumped over the fence that led to the area where the units were located between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and cut the copper wires from the units as well as from the walls of the church.

It was not stated how much it would cost to repair the units, and no suspects were named.
