Police: Man struck woman with brick, choked another

Police charged an Armuchee man with two counts of aggravated assault early Thursday morning for hitting one woman with a brick and choking another, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

According to the reports:

Timothy Daniel Payton, 30, 684 Floyd Springs Road, also threatened to kill a man.

In addition to the aggravated assault charges, Payton was also charged with two counts of battery (FVA) and one count of terroristic threats and acts.
