After two successful trial runs under the Halloween City banner, Party City has officially opened a full-time location in half of the old Circuit City property at Mount Berry Square.

Store Manager Jayson Frederick said the Rome Halloween City store outperformed all others in Georgia, so the parent company decided Rome would be a great place to put down permanent roots.

Party City has taken close to half of the old Circuit City building while Dollar Tree will be opening soon in the other half of the building.

“We’ve got anything and everything to do with any birthday theme for boys and girls, everything from Spiderman to Dora” Frederick said. “That’s just in the store,. Online we’ve got much more.”

The store has an entire aisle dedicated to weddings and other sections related to births and baby showers. “We have different themes from Hollywood themes to 50s themes,” Frederick said.

Part of the store is also dedicated to personalization of party supplies. If someone needs on the spot printing for invi-tations, custom banners, that kind of thing we can do on site,” Frederick said.

Party City is open Monday through Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m.; Thursday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.; Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
