The driver of a Saturn registered in Floyd County was transported to the Floyd Medical Center Sunday following a wreck at the intersection of Burlington Road and Todd Road in Shannon.

The wreck occured right in front of the Shannon fire station and literally shook firefighters who heard the wreck and were on the scene immediately.

The Dodge truck in the background, hit the Saturn from the rear as the Saturn slowed to make a right turn off Burlington Road onto Todd Road.

A passenger in the Saturn was not seriously injured nor were the two women in the pick up truck.

Let it be known that some Saturns turn slow,

some Dodge trucks can't dodge cars, and all is

well 'cause the firemen weren't at Walmart.
