Mr. and Mrs. Steve Ware of Cedartown announce the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Renae Everett, to Timothy Adam Akins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Akins of Aragon.

Miss Everett is a 2006 graduate of Pepperell High School and a 2010 graduate of Shorter University, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is employed as a Pre-K teacher at Super Kids Early Learning Center.

The bride-elect is the sister of Ragan Ware and Corey Ware. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Kay, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Ware, and the late Rev. Franklin Hames.

Akins is a 2007 graduate of Pepperell High School and a 2012 graduate of Georgia Highlands College where he received an Associate of Science Degree. He is employed at Coca-Cola.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Smith, the late Rev. Robert Akins and the late Willie Mae Akins.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Proctor Farm in Rome. Formal invitations will be sent.
