Four local swimmers from Three Rivers Swim Club will compete this week in USA Swimming’s Georgia State Long Course Championships in the 14-and-younger division.

The meet will take place July 19-22 at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center, site of the 1996 Olympic swimming competition.

In the boys 10-and-under age group, A.J. Williams, Jr., 10, will race in ten events: the 50, 100, and 200 meter freestyle, the 50 and 100 meter butterfly, the 50 and 100 meter backstroke, the 50 and 100 meter breaststroke, and the 200 meter individual medley.

Joining Williams in the boys 10-and-under age group is Luciano Hasko, 9, who will swim the 50 meter backstroke and the 100 meter breaststroke.

Luciano’s sister Viola Hasko, 11, will swim in the girls 11-12 age group. She will compete in the 50, 100, and 200 meter breaststroke.

Samson Mumber, who just turned 11, will swim in the boys 11-12 age group. Mumber will swim the 50, 100, and 200 meter backstroke.

All four swimmers are coached by TRSC’s Brooks Coville and Melissa Picon.
