Jewelry, cash taken from vehicle on Reynolds Street

Gold and diamond jewelry was stolen from the unlocked car of Reynolds Street resident while it was parked at the home between midnight and 10:51 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to a Rome police report.

According to the report:

The doors were unlocked and one window was partially down when the resident left the vehicle the previous night.

The items were in the front seat and included a 14 karat gold diamond necklace valued at $2,000, a 24 karat gold diamond necklace and watch combo valued at $8,000, and $200 in cash from a pants pocket.

No suspects were noted in the report.
