Aragon man accused of stealing heavy machinery

An Aragon man was jailed in Rome late Sunday evening accused of taking heavy machinery from a southern Floyd County resident.

According to Floyd County jail records:

Timothy William Tillery, 27, of 850 Morris Road, was charged with felony theft by taking for allegedly stealing one piece of heavy machinery from a home on Bailey Road. The theft is alleged to have occurred sometime between June 25 and June 27.

The piece of machinery was valued well in excess of $500.

He remained in jail Monday night on a $3,750 bond.
