Georgia Power Company crews were still at work Monday morning attempting to restore electrical service to about 70 Rockmart customers who lost power after a brief storm downed a tree Sunday afternoon.

Residents of the Goodyear Village neighborhood said a storm came through with brisk winds, rain and lightning around 5 p.m. Sunday. The storm uprooted a large oak tree.
