Report: Lindale man harassed woman, called 16 times in 5 hours

A Lindale man was arrested at his home Sunday after allegedly harassing a woman by calling her numerous times and swearing at her in voicemails, according to a Floyd County Jail report.

According to the report:

James Roy Dempsey, 64, of 211B Hooper Ave., called the woman 16 times in five hours after being asked to stop.

He was charged with misdemeanor harassing phone calls and remained in jail Sunday night, July 1.
