The turning point:

Leading 3-1 heading into the ninth, Greenville put three more runs on the board to take a commanding 6-1 lead.

Who did what for Rome: Brandon Drury went

2-for-3 and drove in the Braves’ only run. Kyle Kubitza had two hits, and Will Skinner had a double. William Beckwith and Ryan Query each had one hit.

On the mound: Jarrett Miller took the loss

(4-2) after giving up nine hits and two runs in four innings. Ronan Pacheco pitched two scoreless innings. Fabian Williamson gave up one run in two innings pitched, and Ian Marshall gave up three runs in the ninth inning.

Next Game: Rome will host the Drive today at 1 p.m. for the final game of their four-game series. Rome will then host Kannapolis for a five-game series.
