Motor scooter wreck sends driver to hospital

A Rome man was transported to the hospital after hitting a curb on Walenda Drive with his motor scooter and landing in a ditch, according to Floyd County Pfc. Jeramy Penny.

Carl William Sneed, 51, of 105A Baby Doe Drive was treated for minor injuries and taken to Redmond Regional Medical Center for the wreck that occurred at approximately 11:18 a.m.

Charges are currently pending.
