Police are investigating a possible incident of elder abuse that occurred at Ridge Ferry Park on Sunday morning, according to a report:

According to the Rome police report:

A jogger on the river path walkway reported seeing one of two women in medical scrubs roughly push a frail older woman and then change her diaper in public. Upon returning to their van, the women shoved her up against it, cleaned her and then disposed of the used items in the park parking lot. The women who appeared to be caretakers also were with two other older women in wheelchairs.

What an incomplete article! Where is the description of the two women who were responsible for this? What about a description of the van or did the passer-by get a tag number? How can anyone get involved with such basic information?!?

I care for my elderly mother, and it can be stressful at times, but there is no excuse for this behavior. I would like to thank whoever reported this

Respect for the elderly, the children and the poor is the sign of a christian and noblemen. Man is destined to repeat his self as we return to the darkages.
