Chamber of Commerce business ambassadors joined bank officials and community leaders for the grand opening celebration.
Heritage First President Ryan Earnest called the new branch a reinvestment in the West Rome community.
Earnest told the crowd that he remembered riding bicycles on the parking lot of the building as a boy and was happy to have a part in re-utilizing the property
Kay Chumbler, senior vice president and business development officer, said, “We hope that if this is your first visit that it won’t be your last.”
The bank relocated from a much smaller location at 522 Shorter Ave., next to Division Street, which it had leased for several years.
The new location was completely remodeled and retrofitted after Heritage First agreed to make the move several months ago.
